Interesting Projects
We would like to be involved on projects that will make a difference. I've helped companies pioneer prototypes concepts such as the flexible draper header as far back as the 1990s. My Background
Farm kid with 30 years designing and manufacturing. Design, analysis, prototyping, field test, project management, patents, etc. I don't mind pulling wrenches in my free time, helps me stay grounded. Past Projects
Concurrent Engineering designed a full stripper header, built a prototype and field tested inside of 9 months for our first major client. Blank page to full drawings and test results. 2 people - 700 part machine. Part way through the project it was understood that the client absolutely wanted a ground up new high torque, low profile, belt CVT design for the rotor so we delivered a working CVT system in that deal for no extra charge. Given that there are virtually no modern design guides for such a system we relied heavily on mathematical calculations and practical experience with combine and off road CVTs.
Long story short - we work fast and deliver working product based on 30 years of real world engineering in agriculture.
Pricing
We are in a unique situation where we currently do not have a lot of overhead. Looking for a leader in a large company to take a project to a successful completion? Or just starting up with a great idea? We can give you honest advice - even if its to our own detriment. We have recommended against several projects in the past that would have created income for us, but we didn't feel it would be successful. We will share our experience and you can take what you want from it.
Currently we do not have any major client projects in the pipeline and are available for work.
